Orlando, FL (September 20, 2022) – Orlando Watersports Complex has completed the first phase of a planned, multi-million dollar expansion & renovation.  Some of these additions include a brand new aquapark, a brand new beach feature, an improved layout for OWC’s “get up guarantee” beginner training, and a re-built and optimized standard cable.

The first thing you will notice when you go to the newly renovated watersports complex, is the brand new, extensive beach that features lounge chairs for you to kick back and relax. OWC’s new aquapark, which includes over 30 features, is now strategically placed right in front of the beach for easier access while also having the ability to serve as a viewing area to watch friends and family show off their wakeboarding skills on the standard and advanced cable.

Orlando Watersports Complex has also re-designed both the beginner “2.0” wakeboard cable and the standard wakeboard cable to optimize the experience and accessibility for the rider. Some improvements include a shaded covering for the wakeboard starting dock line, standard towers raised to help riders get up easier, and a shortened standard cable to help keep riders from tiring out on long laps.

OWC has also added a new boat house by the beach to display a brand new 2023 Nautique G23 & Ski Nautique, which are available to rent out for tubing, wake surfing, and wakeboarding sessions.

“OWC has always been considered a leader in watersports since its opening in 1999 and we are very proud to continue this legacy with the projects we are undertaking to make it even better for families to spend a day on the water together,” stated Aktion Parks Director of Operations, Kellan Rudnicki.
