Orlando, FL (March 23, 2018) – A colorful, state-of-the-art inflatable waterpark experience isn’t the only addition you will find this season at the continually growing Orlando Watersports Complex (OWC). New for this year, Certified Executive Chef David Nina has joined the team as head of food and beverage operations. Chef Nina brings years of experience to OWC, from running one of Orlando’s top catering companies to spending over a decade as the Executive Chef at one of Central Florida’s largest theme parks.

An avid wakeboarder himself, Chef Nina has spent a great deal of time enjoying OWC. In his new role, he is ensuring that all guests at the complex, from professional athletes to local families to tourists, will eat better and enjoy a wide variety of fresh, delicious offerings.

“It was important to me that our menu would provide serious athletes and health-conscious families with food that complimented their active lifestyles,” Chef Nina said. His cooking approach utilizes seasonal, local and diverse ingredients for a satisfying and memorable experience.

Chef Nina also provides OWC visitors with secret menus, outdoor grills, and picnic packages right on the beach, bringing the party to the next level and allowing guests to enjoy everything OWC has to offer.

“Our team at OWC continues to enhance our guests’ experiences in numerous ways. Part of our plan is to build upon the quality of our food and beverage offerings to ensure that individuals, large groups, kids’ camps and special events enjoy the best overall experience that any wake park can offer,” said Bill Yeargin, President and CEO of Correct Craft (owner of Aktion Parks and OWC).  Yeargin added, “All of our Correct Craft companies are working constantly at ‘Making Life Better’ and we are excited to be improving a wake park that is already one of the world’s best!”
